• I have two different series for the Holiday Fair at the Mansfield Art Center in November.  The first is a sailing series.  Each are done with soft pastel, color pencil and graphite.  All three are relatively small; 4x5 matted and framed in 9x12 frames.  Great gift ideas.

  • This little guy made for a great subject.  Mostly graphite with color pencil and soft pastel for softness.  I love drawing dogs!

  • It's been a while since I've been ask to draw a vehicle.  This truck's name is Henry and it was a blast to draw.  Soft Pastel, color pencil and graphite complete the soft color look.

  • A call went out to artists last month to create a "wine-themed" piece to be displayed during a benefit auction at The Happy Grape Wine Bar in Lexington.  The money raised during the auction will benefit the goals and mission of the Mansfield Art Center.  (Wine and Art, not a bad combo!)

My participation amounts to this humble offering:  a 16x20 charcoal and pencil drawing entitled Beatlejuice.  "Borrowing" some iconic images from an old album, I attempted to brand a new kind of wine.  This was a really fun piece to do.

If you have an interest in purchasing this item and/or attending the benefit, please give me a call or email.  The event will be held on Thursday, September 29th at the Happy Grape.  V.I.P. Wine tasting and Hors d'ouvres event begins @ 6:00 p.m. and includes admission to the auction. V.I.P. Seats are $40.00 per person. Reservations may be made at the
Mansfield Art Center or The Happy Grape Wine Bar. Make your reservation early as V.I.P. tickets are limited to the first 50 people.

Wine Auction begins at 7:00 p.m. and is open to the public. Cost is $10.00 at the door. This is for the auction only, no food or beverage is included in this price.

    Hope to see you there.
